2011 Foxhall Fright a Chilling Success!

Many thanks to Caitlin Mackenzie and her team of volunteers for organizing another wonderful Foxhall Fright. Even a snowstorm couldn’t keep our neighborhood goblins, princesses, fruit, and superheroes away from this year’s Foxhall Fright. Over 40 neighbors and friends attended the event.

On a snowy afternoon, our costume parade took place inside the Hardy Recreation Center where everyone enjoyed the live music, food, and fun. Children decorated pumpkins, cookies and fall-themed photo frames. Our four-footed friends won prizes for the pet costume contest.

Thank you Mary Ann Griffin for your help with this! Many thanks to the neighbors who helped with set-up and clean-up this year—Chris Feller, Brooke and David Buchanan, Raymond, Lynn and others. Special thanks to Rodney Brown for helping with all on-site aspects of the event. And thank you to the Palisades Band, for making the event so festive with great music!
