Holiday Decorating Contest Winners

The FCCA neighborhood was ablaze with lights and greenery this holiday season, including a wonderful grouping of illuminated trees on the upper Q Street circle. We hope everyone was able to see at least a few of these wonderful decorations. The judges went out on Friday evening, December 21, to pick the winners of our annual competition. We were happy to deliver lovely poinsettia plants to the following winners:

Most creative: 4515 Q Lane (Travis Humphreys)

Best Illumination: 4509 Potomac Avenue (Judith Michaels); honorable mention goes to 4464 MacArthur Blvd.

Most Festive: Paul Ward’s illumination of trees on the Upper Q Street Circle; honorable mention goes to 4402 Q Street (Lise Adkins and Tom Murphy)

Most Kid Friendly: 4485 Q Street (Elliot and Vicki Crooke)

Best Overall: 4401 Q Street (Alex Pires and Diane Cooley)

The judges this year were Mallory Lawson, Sara Paulson, Andra Lion, Steve Barnard and Elizabeth Berman.

Happy Holidays to all!
